Teriyaki Beef Wasabi Mini Shells
Give your taste buds a kick with this zesty and spicy snack! The flavor contrast between the sweetness of the teriyaki and the healthy punch from the wasabi make this an addictive treat.
- 2/3 pound roast beef 1/4" diced
- 1/3 cup teriyaki sauce
- 1/3 cup wasabi sauce
- 1 Tbsp. honey
- 2 packages Athens Mini Fillo Shells
- green onions for garnish (optional)
- clinatro for garnish (optional)
- In a small bowl, combine diced roast beef and teriyaki sauce.
- Cover and marinate in the refrigerator for 2 hours.
- Whisk together wasabi sauce and honey.
- Drain marinade from beef.
- Fill shells with beef and drizzle wasabi mixture on top.
- If desired, garnish with green onions and/or cilantro.
Tip: For added crispness, preheat oven to 350⁰F. Place empty shells on a baking sheet and bake for 3-5 minutes. Cool and proceed as directed above.
