If you’ve been clamoring for Scottsdale’s next showpiece restaurant you’re not going to have to wait much longer. Sam Fox is debuting Society Swan, a glamorous American brasserie with French flair, in Scottsdale on October 15th. The newest concept will be settling into the former Kona Grill space at Fashion Square. The two-level venue promises to blend Parisian charm with a touch of East Coast poise in a way that we’ve all come to expect from Sam Fox.
As my closet and my bank account can attest, I am a huge fan of all things Mid Century Modern and Society Swan strikes me as the perfect backdrop for my favorite Mad Men executives slipping into for a power lunch, ties loosened and martinis in hand, making deals over a platter of raw oysters. At the same time, I can also see it as a place for the housewives to gather for Waldorf salads and gossip, share dinner party tips and child-rearing woes with a delightful backdrop of clinking glassware and the hum of conversation.

This new spot is Fox’s take on the American brasserie, timeless without being stuffy. During the day you can expect polished lunches with a shift in the evening to polished steak knives, candlelit tables and martini cheers. If you’re a fan of a touch of fancy and glamour, you’re going to love this place.

Whether you are popping in for the oysters and martinis, Wagyu and frites or attempting to channel your inner Don or Betty Draper, this spot is about to dominate your social media feed.
