Looks like I’m not the only one excited about The Life of a Showgirl album release this week. Local Valley spots are planning a full weekend of themed brunches, trivia nights and glittering cocktails sure to bedazzle every level of Swiftie. Some of your favorite local hotspots are transforming into the perfect release weekend backdrop complete with drag brunches and friendship bracelet making stations.

The Hot Chick (Old Town Scottsdale)
Life of a Showgirl Drag Brunch – Saturday, October 4
Hosted by Barbra Seville (one of my favorites and arguably the Valley’s most talented drag queen royalty) with special guest Taylor Swift impersonator Trinna Modelle. Expect high-energy performances, glitter cocktails, and a bracelet-making station.
Specials:
- $11 Showgirl Spritz (La Marca Prosecco + orange glitter)
- $13 Aperol Spritz Margarita (Gran Malo tequila, Aperol, tajín rim)
- $5 bottles of champagne with entrée purchase until 2 p.m.

Taylor & Tacos Trivia – Tuesday, October 7

Taylor Swift Rooftop Menu – October 3–5
Tempe’s tallest open-air rooftop lounge is joining the Swiftie celebration with a limited-time food and drink menu inspired by Taylor’s music. Pair sweeping city views with themed bites and cocktails made for the album release weekend.
Food highlights:
- The Opener Sliders – angus beef, cheddar, chipotle aioli on Hawaiian buns
- Lover Flatbread – mozzarella, San Marzano sauce, basil on garlic naan
- Glitter and Glow Tacos – carne asada or chicken with pico, cilantro, and lime
- Spotlight Skewers – teriyaki chicken, pineapple, peppers, peanut sauce

Taylor Swift Album Drop Listening Party – Thursday, October 2 at 7 p.m.
Swifties can head to Old Town’s Mother Tucker’s Tavern to celebrate the release of The Life of a Showgirl right on launch night. The evening kicks off with Taylor Swift trivia, themed giveaways, and plenty of house music to keep the energy high.
