Warm Fruited Quinoa Recipe
Passover calls for get-togethers with family and friends and of course, food. You’re worried that the holiday could have harmful effects on your diet – but it doesn’t have to be that way! In fact, Passover is a great opportunity to experiment in the kitchen, finding new easy, healthy and tasty recipes.
This healthy and filling Warm Fruited Quinoa recipe was provided by our friends at Medifast.
- 1 cup quinoa (will yield 2 cups cooked)
- 2 cups water
- 1/2 cups diced peaches
- 1/2 cups diced plums
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- Rinse the quinoa in water using a strainer
- Add the quinoa to the two cups of water in a medium saucepan. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and smmer gently for five minutes.
- Add the peaches, plums and cinnamon. Simmer until the water has absorbed and serve.
