The Red-Neck Cocktail Recipe
In celebration of National Bourbon Day on June 14th, Cowboys Saloon presents “The Red-Neck”, a popular bourbon based signature cocktail.
Cowboys Saloon often uses cutting edge local bourbons tailored to their specific location, whether it is here in Arizona, Colorado or Florida. Bourbon selections in Phoenix and Peoria include Cake Creek. Copper City and Garrison Brothers.
This recipe shows off the bar and grill’s fun southern twist with Bulleit or Makers Mark, but you are invited to use your favorite local bourbon.
- 2 mint leaves
- 3 raspberries
- 1/2 ounce Simple Syrup
- 2 ounces Boubon
- Muddle raspberries and mint in a cocktail shaker. If you don't have a muddler you can use a wooden spoon.
- Fill glass with crushed ice.
- Stir in boubon and simple syrup and shake.
- Garnish with more mint or raspberries if desired.
- Serve in a mason jar and enjoy!
