Barh Mi Pop Up Feast Coming to Crudo This Summer

Crudo in Phoenix is hosting a special pop-up event that’s temporarily transforming the adjacent Bar Crudo into ‘Barh Mi‘ and serving up a globe-spanning feast featuring Banh Mi sandwiches and more.
07012018 Barh Mi Pop Up Feast Coming to Crudo This SummerHosted for two weeks during their annual summer vacation and refresh, (July 11 – 14 and July 18-21), enjoy a full menu of these savory Vietnamese-French sandwiches served on fluffy baguettes, and other deliciously exotic eats. Think Cheese Burger Tartare or Pig Ear Papaya Salad. Hosted exclusively in the bar area, guests are invited to eat at the bar, or sit down in the cozy bar area seating for a full-service feast. Plus, on Saturday, July 14, Crudo will host a Bastille Day celebration with French-inspired eats and drinks.
Also this summer, Crudo’s chef/owner will be heading off on his annual summer respite, so Crudo’s sit-down dining room will be closed from July 1 – 23, 2018. During the break, Crudo will receive a summer refresh, including new flooring, chairs, paint, artwork, lighting and tabletops, before reopening for regular dinner service on Tuesday, July 24. Campbell is keeping the Bar Crudo open exclusively for the Barh Mi event during the restaurant’s summer vacation.

Gougères (savory cheese puffs) $6

Cheese Burger Tartare (pickles, secret sauce, cheddar, baguette) $16
Pig Ear Papaya Salad (lime-fish sauce vinaigrette, chilies, herbs) $10
Smoked Foie Gras (apple fritters) $18

Steak Frites (Fire Roasted Tenderloin/Teres with Really Crispy Fries & Choice of Green Peppercorn Sauce, Shiitake Steak Sauce or Béarnaise) $40

(All sandwiches served with pickled veg, house aioli, jalapeño + cilantro)
