Tacos Tequila Whiskey is officially in search of their dream team
It may be KTM Restaurant Group and Lead Chef Kevin Morrison’s first foray into the explosive Phoenix food scene, but Tacos Tequila Whiskey already has everyone from Bon Appetit to Food Network magazine hungry for more.
One of the “21 Best Mexican Restaurants in America” and the “10 Best Taco Spots in the U.S.,”Tacos Tequila Whiskey is a one-time Mexican street food truck-turned chef-driven, sit-down neighborhood restaurant coming to Arcadia this May.
But before it opens its doors to Sunday brunchers, business lunchers and happy hour fanatics, Tacos Tequila Whiskey Arcadia is looking for qualified candidates to fill as many as 100 positions, including cooks, servers, hosts, bartenders, dishwashers and managers. The restaurant’s four day hiring event is set to take place April 11 and 12 at Arcadia’s Whining Pig and April 17 and 18 at Tacos Tequila Whiskey. Applicants are encouraged to attend with resume and confidence in-hand for on-site interviews with restaurant team leads.
While new to Arizona, Tacos Tequila Whiskey has racked up a lengthy list of accolades since opening its brick-and-mortar doors, including a 2012 “Best New Restaurant” nod from Westword magazine in Denver, Colorado, where the restaurant group and Tacos Tequila Whiskey concept originated, and a host of other honors for its street-style tacos, unique ambiance and impressive, abundant happy hour offerings. And while the eatery’s tacos are its undeniable stars, its collection of small-batch tequila and whiskey also leave little to be desired when the restaurant opens at the NW corner of Indian School Road and 40th St. this May.
