Grimaldi’s Partners with No Kid Hungry in September

Posted on: August 21st, 2017 by Taryn Jeffries No Comments

Did you know that one in six children in the United States goes to bed hungry every night? As a mother of three boys, this is a devastating fact. Grimaldi’s Pizzeria owners feel the same way and have joined with No Kid Hungry in the fight to raise awareness with the goal of ending childhood hunger in America.

Grimaldi's Partners with No Kid Hungry in SeptemberThroughout the month of September, which is Hunger Awareness Month, any guests that come into any Grimaldi’s Pizzeria locations within Arizona can donate to No Kid Hungry. This organization works tirelessly day and night to end childhood hunger by ensuring that all children get the healthy food they need.

If you donate up to $10 to No Kid Hungry when you dine at Grimaldi’s you will be rewarded with some really exceptional karma as well as the equivalent amount in Grimaldi’s bonus cards, limited to one per customer per visit, to be used on your next visit. All of the proceeds of this campaign will go directly to No Kid Hungry.

Grimaldi’s Pizzeria is just one of thousands of restaurants throughout the nation that are supporting Share Our Strength’s No Kid Hungry ®. The funds received are used to raise awareness of child hunger, support important nutrition programs like School Breakfast and Summer Meals. They also educate children and their family on how to cook healthy dishes when working with limited resources.

Grimaldi’s is a perfect spot for families to get together and share a meal. With offerings like coal-fired pizzas with a seemingly endless array of toppings (we love the white pizza with garlic) to fresh and flavorful salads there is something everyone at your table will love – especially the cannoli.

Help out Grimaldi’s and No Kid Hungry by making some time to visit in September at any of their Arizona locations.
