This new event will feature some of our top local restauranteurs that will give you an inside look behind the kitchen doors. The fast-paced presentation will be followed up with a live Q&A session featuring Lauren Bailey & Craig DeMarco of Upward Projects (Postino WineCafé, Windsor, Federal Pizza, Joyride Taco House, Churn), Joe Johnson (Barnone, Joe’s Farm Grill, Joe’s Real Bar-b-que, Liberty Market) and David Birzon (Snooze, an A.M. Eatery, Paradise Bakery).

You’ll be able to learn why Lauren Bailey thinks vulnerability is one of the keys to entrepreneurship and how it fuels knowledge and networking. You can also discover the keys to scaling a concept for growth, maintaining your culture through growth and leveraging private equity investment and culture with David Birzon, who helped build two of the most recognizable brands in today’s restaurant industry.

So no matter if you are an aspiring restaurateur, or simply want to go behind the scene to learn the secret life of a restaurant owner, this is your chance to chat with the doers, creators and visionaries that have helped define the Arizona dining scene.

The event will be emceed by Craig Outhier, Phoenix Magazine’s editor and will be held at the Arizona Science Center’s IMAZ theatre from 4:30pm until 5:45pm. The event is free if you register online, but with very limited space available you will want to register as soon as possible.
