With September being National Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, we wanted to introduce you to Tim Harrison today. Tim is the Director of Cause Related Marketing for Phoenix Children’s Hospital Foundation. Tim has had quite the career and has been involved in a variety of fields before beginning his position the PCH Foundation.

Five Facts About Tim Harrison

• Tim is a native of England and graduated from the University of Brighton
• Tim owned a pub in London
• Tim lived in Mexico for four years before moving to the US and landing in Arizona
• Tim led several restaurants in LA and Phoenix before spending 10 years running radio sales departments
• Tim has called Arizona home for the last 14 years, living in Paradise Valley with his wife and son

First Date Spot | Beckett’s Table 
Beckett’s Table is such a great date night spot for my wife and I. I love the vibe, food and location. Stop by Beckett’s Table during the month of September and order their Gold Beets appetizer to support Go Gold. A portion of proceeds from this dish will go to the Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders.

Oldie but Goodie | Spinato’s
You can’t go wrong with this staple and my favorite thing to get there is the Chicken Presto Pesto Pizza. They are also donating $1 from every dessert sold all month long to our Go Gold campaign.

Most Unique Dining Spot | Southern Rail
Southern Rail is a real treat and really adds something to the dining scene here in the Valley. Something as simple as Avocado Toast or Fried Green Tomatoes—Justin takes it to that next level. Southern Rail will go gold all this month by donating a portion of proceeds from their Golder Corn Chowder.

Best Burger | Thirsty Lion Gastropub & Grill
Thirsty Lion has a great Jalapeno Pepperjack Burger with just the right amount of kick. The Tempe location at Tempe Marketplace is also donating $1 per flight of gold beers in September to Go Gold. What could be better than a burger and beer while raising money for kids?

Best Asian | Kabuki
This is another great place to go when I am out at Tempe Marketplace or Westgate. They have a special dish for the month of September: Curry Shrimp on Crispy Rice.  $1 from the sale of each dish will be donated back to PCH for Go Gold. So get it while you can!
