Kneaders Opens 12th Valley Location on 2/26

Posted on: February 24th, 2016 by Taryn Jeffries No Comments

North East Mesa residents will awaken to the enticing aroma of fresh baked breads, pastries and French toast next weekend, as the much-anticipated and newest location of Kneaders Bakery & Café, located at Power and McDowell Roads, opens its doors on February 26.

The first 100 guests through the door on Friday, February 26 and Saturday, February 27 will receive a complimentary order of the restaurant’s famous Chunky Cinnamon French Toast. Guests can feel gratified when visiting the location during opening weekend, as 10% of total sales will be donated back to the community. This location’s local managing partner, Tieg Justesen, has chosen AAEC Early College High School to receive the donations from opening weekend.

“As a resident of the Mesa community for 14 years, it’s very important to me that we be directly involved with our schools, non-profits and various charitable initiatives,” Justesen said. “We’re here to serve the community both inside and outside our restaurant.”

Community involvement isn’t the only thing Justesen is proud of. With the addition of the Mesa McDowell location, Justesen and franchise development company Four Foods Group, have added 55 jobs to the Mesa community. With the company’s openings of Kneader’s Bakery and Cafés over the last two and a half years, Four Foods has added a total of 500 jobs in the Arizona market alone.

The opening of the newest Kneaders location marks the 15th in Arizona, and the 12th in the Valley. Located within the Red Mountain Promenade at 6611 E. McDowell Road, the store will serve breakfast, lunch and dinner Monday through Saturday from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Kneaders also offers catering, online ordering capabilities and a drive thru.

Kneaders Bakery and Café specializes in authentic European hearth breads that are made from scratch daily by expertly trained bakers at each Kneaders location. Kneaders also offers a variety of soups, salads, sandwiches and over 40 different pastries in a charming, family-friendly environment. Additionally, each location offers a unique selection of seasonal and home décor, as well as custom-made gift baskets.
