The end of the summer always puts me in the mood for a celebration. School is back in session and my husband and my birthdays are mid-August; all great reasons to celebrate.

This summer I also made the decision to leave my “day job” and with that combined with our birthdays, my husband and I decided to throw a big bash. While my husband was concerned with the house being clean and having enough food for our guests while I was much more into the details. That’s pretty much how it works, right? The men are interested in the logistics and the women are engrossed with the fine details.

In doing some research on party accouterments, I found the perfect touch for any celebration. Classic Hostess has an array of drink dispensers that are perfect for a backyard pool party (like we had) to an elegant wedding and anything in between. Plastic, glass or ceramic, single or double and with your choice of a metal or plastic spigot, the options are beautiful and seemingly endless.

One of my favorites was the Cylinder Glass Beverage Dispenser with Infuser (also glass) that holds 1.5 gallons. The infusion chamber can be filled with any fruit of your liking. This would be perfect for flavoring waters, tea or a variety of alcoholic beverages. The best part is that the whole unit is only $29.99 making it an easy investment on a party favor that could be used over and over again.

I also fell in love with their Double Glass Chalkboard Beverage Dispensers. These stylish side-by-side drink dispensers are customizable with their chalkboard label on the front. I can imagine having these set out beside the pool; one with some sangria and the other with some basil cucumber water. These dispensers will hold up to .08 gallons each and measure 5.25 x 5.25 x 10.3 inches and the included stand measures 12 x 6 x 6.75 inches. The metal lids have a whimsical ceramic finial and the chalkboard labels are easily cleaned with a wet washcloth or sponge. Whether you are hosting your own party or looking for that perfect hostess gift, at $49.99 this dynamic duo is a steal!

I also found some gorgeous cake stands, and while I am not a baker, with the wedding season getting going here in the Valley as the temps start to decrease, I can imagine a table of them in all different colors and sizes topped with sweet treats or finger foods. As with the beverage dispensers, the options for cake stands are equally gorgeous and affordable. They offer multi-layer stands, marble entertainment servers, ceramic, porcelain, crystal and glass. I was really struck by the milk glass. As a lover of all things vintage, their classic beauty takes me back to my grandmother’s kitchen to the point that I can almost taste the treats that she used to have on display when I visited. The pastel colors were my favorite; colors like buttercream, pink and jade but the robin’s egg was my ultimate favorite. The vibrant coloring combined with the classic shape would look absolutely inviting on any dining room table or kitchen counter. These cake stands range from 6, 9, 10 and 12 inches which makes for a perfect display. The milk glass stands also come in white, black raspberry and gray marble swirl with all stands ranging from $29.80 up to $94.99 depending on you size selection.

So, if you are planning a party, shower, family reunion or a huge celebration like a wedding and need the perfect touches or you need that unique and beautiful hostess gift check out all that Classic Hostess has to offer and let us know what your favorite item is!
