Groth Vineyards Wine Dinner at The Wigwam
The Wigwam’s Summer Wine Series is a great way to experience amazing cuisine paired with phenomenal wines, all the while getting expert tips and history from Chef Rich Hinojosa and the featured winery.

Kelly’s Annual Affair
Kelly’s At SouthBridge is celebrating its three year anniversary in style this summer! The public is invited to attend Kelly’s Annual Affair in Scottsdale June 19th for a glamorous 1920’s and 30’s themed event. The Affair will begin on Thursday the 18th at 5 pm. with a live, acoustic band until 7 p.m. The entertainment continues with another live band from 7-10 p.m. and a must-see candy bar with all your favorite sweets! Enjoy $8 Patron, $8 Moscow Mules and $6 Vodka Red Bulls from 5 p.m. to close on the 18th and 19th. For those who are unfamiliar with the Roaring 20s, it was a time of gangsters and flappers, prohibition and art deco. This event is an anniversary party you won’t want to miss and it’s free to attend!

Proof Backyard BBQ and Seafood Boil
Proof is embracing the essence of summer with their Backyard BBQ series and Seafood Boil. The Backyard BBQ will take place every Friday night with a rotating menu and will feature items like cornbread, puppies, barbecue ribs, shrimp skewers and much more.
These BBQ and Seafood Boils will be featured from 5:30 to 9:30pm each Friday during the summer and will cost $44 per person (not including tax or gratuity). With the draw and popularity of these events, reservations are recommended.

Tilted Earth Wine & Music Festival
Page Cellar Springs and Arizona winemaker Eric Glomski have joined forces for the 2nd annual Tilted Earth Wine & Music Festival this weekend in Cottonwood.
The Festival will feature a 2 day line-up of well known folk and acoustic rock entertainment like Rusted Root, Robert Earl Keen and The Lone Bellow. There will be over 17 Northern Arizona wineries featured along with cuisine from 8 gourmet food trucks from the Phoenix Street Food Coalition. Some of the featured trucks will be The Rocket Woodfired Pizza, The Affogato Truck, Sandra Dee’s Creole Kitchen and Burgers Amore.
There will also be a ton of family and kid focused activities, so pack up the car and get out of town!
Adult entry is $45, Youth tickets (13-20) are $20 and children 12 and under are free.
Saturday, June 20th
6th Annual ALS Bite Nite
If you’re looking for a great way to spend the night and end up feeling like you’ve made a difference in someone’s life, make your way to the 6th Annual ALS BiteNite.
From 6 to 10pm you’ll enjoy culinary bites from the Valley’s most popular chef’s. There will also be a wide array of live and silent auctions to raise funds for the fight against Lou Gehrig’s disease.
Tickets are $150 a piece and are available at BiteNite.
BeerPalooza
What’s better than a ridiculous amount of tasty brewed beverages and love music, food and games? All of this in an air conditioned mecca! Check out the Scottsdale Beer Palooza this weekend for only $35 for general admission. Your admission will get you all the free ac you can handle as well as 20 (4 oz.) samples and a mini beer mug.
There will be over 30 participating breweries in addition to the culinary creations of Chef Michael DeMaria of M Culinary Concepts. I also have it on good authority that The Mustache Pretzel food truck will be making an appearance.
This event is taking place at Westworld, located at 16601 N. Pima Rd. in Scottsdale.
Galette and Glace Class with Tracy Dempsey
Looking to enhance (or create) your culinary skills? A class with Tracy Dempsey should do the trick.
This Saturday you can learn to master the art of Galette (free-form tarte) and glace (ice cream) in this hands-on class. You’ll receive instruction on preparing your own galette and then set loose to make it. You’ll also be preparing several ice creams to accompany the galettes.
The instruction will only cost you $65 per person, but you’re going to want to make sure to call 602.376.9021 to reserve your spot.
