Bistro du Lac

Easter Brunch at Cibo e VinoCibo e Vino

Easter Brunch at Eddie V'sEddie V’s
Date/Time: April 5th, 2015 from 11am to 3pm
Brunch: Eddie V’s will offer 2 prix-fixe menus, one for adults and one for children. Adults can choose from Maine lobster & shrimp bisque, shrimp & pork pot stickers, Kung Fu style calamari, steak & lobster tartare, wild mushroom salad or an iceberg blt as a starter. Adult main course options are fresh Maine lobster eggs benedict, shrimp & crab chopped salad, parmesan crusted North Atlantic lemon sole, roasted breast of chicken or filet medallions. Dessert options range from hot bananas foster butter cake, dark chocolate & crushed toffee s’mores, crème brulee with brown sugar crust and sorbet or ice cream with homemade cookies. Children’s menu options are crispy chicken fingers with fries, creamy parmesan mac & cheese, scrambled egg & cheese quesadilla with crisp bacon, brioche French toast with butter, syrup, berries and bacon or 2 filet mignon sliders with cheese and fries. Children can choose from dark chocolate & crushed toffee s’mores, ice cream or sorbet with homemade cookies or butterscotch pudding with cookies for dessert.

Easter Brunch at The Fairmont PrincessFairmont Scottsdale Princess
Date/Time: April 5th, 2015 9am to 3pm
Brunch: The resort will be featuring the creations of 6 different chefs to create one epic brunch menu. Executive Chef David Morris will be creating Sunshine Breakfast & Brunch favorites like waffles, pancakes, French toast, Applewood bacon, fennel & chicken apple sausage and a build your own omelet station. Chef de Cuisine Forest Hamrick of La Hacienda will be featuring Costillas de Barbacoa de Res, a modern take on Mexican. Bourbon Steak’s Chef de Cuisine Jeremy McMillan will be offering up salt-crusted steamship beef round with horseradish crème fraiche and peppercorn sauce, along with soy, ginger and mirin glazed mushrooms and broccolini with garlic-chili citronette. Toro Latin Restaurant & Run Bar’s Chef de Cuisine Michael Vargas will be presenting lomo saltado and chifa friend rice and tuna Nikkei ceviche. Executive Sous Chef William Schultz of Ironwood American will be creating a mint and lavender rubbed lamb leg, wild mushroom asparagus risotto, spiced carrot soup, Kobe beef sliders and a mac n’ cheese bar. Beautiful pastry offering will be available courtesy of Executive Pastry Chef Carlos Salazar. Cocktails will be available for an additional cost and include champagne cocktails, a build-our-own Bloody Mary bar as well as a full bar.

Activities: Hotel guests as well as those participating in the brunch can follow the bunny trail and white picket fence to Bunnyland, a specially created Easter playground on the resort’s Lagoon Lawn from 11am until 3pm. The playground will include jumper rooms, petting zoo, pony rides, wooden turtle races, potato sack races, jelly bean bingo and giant bubble making. Entertainment will be provided on the Bunnyland stage in the form of a magic show, the Heady Hoop Tribe professional hula hoopers and DJ Splash. There will be a total of 3 egg hunts at 11am, 1pm and 2pm in addition to photos with the Bunny of the Hour from 10am to 2pm.

Food Truck Caravan
Date/Time: April 4th, 2015 7:30pm
Egg Hunt: Show up at 6:30pm to register your child for the first ever Easter Egg Hunt at the Food Truck Caravan. The first 30 children registered, between ages 4 and 8, will start the Hunt at 7:30pm. Each participating child will receive a bag of chocolates from Chocolate Van Brugge and 2 lucky winners will a scoop of ice cream with toppings upon finding the elusive gold and silver eggs. All found eggs will hide a special surprise inside. There will also be corn hole games, live music and participating food trucks will be featuring an Easter Entrée. Udder Delights will be on hand with their special peep flavor.
Cost: There is no cost associated with registering your child for the Hunt. Food truck offering prices will vary.

Hyatt Regency Scottsdale
Date/Time: April 5th, 2015 10am to 5:30pm
Brunch: Settle in at SWB and enjoy made to order omelets, Southwestern eggs benedict, cheese blintzes, assorted soups and salads. There will also be Alaskan king crab legs, jumbo shrimp, mussels, smoked Scottish salmon, sushi, gourmet pastas, roasted leg of lamb, prime rib of beef, paella as well as an elaborate Viennese dessert table.

Brunch: Indulge in a 3 course Easter menu, which includes one mimosa or Bloody Mary, featuring pork pozole, chilaquiles with roasted tomato sauce and chicken topped with an egg and a side of rice and beans. End your brunch on a sweet note with either Bailey’s or Kahlua flavored flan.

Paul Martin’s American Grill
Date/Time: April 5th, 2015 11am to 2pm
Brunch: Pace yourself on fresh baked millet drop biscuits with creamy honey butter, a fresh fruit bowl, a choice of one entrée, plus an alcoholic/nonalcoholic beverage. Select from a variety of entrée choices, including French Toast with vanilla bean infused cream, cinnamon, nutmeg, and maple-bourbon syrup. A traditional Eggs Benedict with poached eggs, Canadian bacon, and house made hollandaise sauce. A gluten-free option, the Applewood Smoked Bacon Omelet features three eggs, bacon, mushrooms, tomato, Tillamook cheddar and sour cream. For a heart healthy omelet, go for the Organic Spinach, Mushroom, and Tomato Egg White Omelet with Grafton Farms white cheddar and salsa verde. The meal comes with a choice of Passport Fair Trade Organic Coffee or Fresh Squeezed Orange or Grapefruit Juice.
