Holiday Gift Idea: Dreamfarm Garject Lite
Retailing at $19.95, Dreamfarm’s Garject Lite makes a great budget-friendly gift for the home cook. This neat little gadget works like a new-and-improved garlic press as it presses unpeeled garlic so you don’t have to do any peeling (which means your hands won’t get all smelly!).
How does it work? It’s pretty easy actually. All you have to do is pop in a single clove, pull down the handle to crush, out comes your pressed garlic on the other side, then flip the handle over and it’s tiny little ‘teeth’ help push out the peel–there’s even a little ‘eject’ button so you can catapult your garlic peel right into your waste basket so you don’t even have to touch! Simple, right?
When I received my Garject Lite to test, I immediately remembered one of the things I love about Dreamfarm products as soon as I opened the box. I love their packaging. Their product boxes are super neat, sturdy and have this smoothness to them that I love. I’ve kept every Dreamfarm box that I’ve received and re-purposed it for new uses, but when you’re done with it, these boxes are specifically designed to be easily recycled. They usually have neat designs printed inside the boxes or directions on how to use whatever product it is that you’re unboxing… they’re just really cool.

The Garject Lite itself is very lightweight and fits comfortably in my hand. I love the convenience of being able to peel multiple cloves at once without stopping in between to scrape clean. And, it’s dishwasher safe, too!
