New freezer-friendly Wholly Guacamole Minis make snack-time a breeze
It’s National Hispanic Heritage Month (September 15th-October 15th), so why not add a little Mexican zing to your mealtime? We make fresh guacamole in our house often and I happen to adore a particular recipe, but I’ll admit that there are many times where my family has a sudden hankering for guac, but we don’t have ripe avocadoes on hand or can’t find any ripe ones in store. For those times, we’ll reach for a product on the shelf to satisfy our craving. I had the opportunity to test Wholly Guacamole’s new products (and some of the classics) and really enjoyed the convenience of having a stash of guac, salsa and avocado on hand that lasted more than a week of snacking.
The Wholly Guacamole Minis come in a variety of flavors: Classic, 100% Chunky Avocado, Avocado Ranch and Spicy (our favorite)… and they only pack about 100 calories into those convenient little containers and are made with only natural ingredients (no preservatives). What I loved most is that they are freezer-friendly (if you’re a busy mom, you know how meaningful this ‘buzz word’ really is!) and can last up to 3 months stashed away in the icebox. They’re easy to throw in your kids’ lunchboxes too… just grab one from the freezer in the morning and they’ll be thawed by the time lunchtime rolls around. Use them on sandwiches in place of mayo, in your salad, or as a dipper for your favorite crunchy veggies.

The cooler I was sent also included a trio of their classic salsas (Roasted Tomato, Classic Medium and Avocado Verde) and a pack of their 100% avocado. We really enjoyed the smooth and creamy Avocado Verde on chicken tacos and loved its velvety texture and clean flavors.
