Looking for a platform of clean eating?

Posted on: May 24th, 2013 by Taryn Jeffries No Comments

Often times, I find myself working to make changes in my life; be it food, lifestyle or organizational changes. With the whole world wide web at my fingertips, I am an expert at making lists, printing out menus and workout plans. My point of weakness is always in the area of support. While some people have no issues being accountable to themselves, some of us need a little nudge to ‘keep it up’.

If you’re like me and are looking for a network of women for support, ideas and execution, Platform Scottsdale may be for you. Platform Scottsdale is a new, local organization that is dedicated to giving women a platform to meet and connect with like-minded women. They host a variety of events throughout the year and one that I am sure to mark on my calendar is coming up on June 12th. Their ‘Up Close and Personal Event’ called Nourish Your Body will feature the culinary experts of Nourish 123 who will teach attendees how to turn clean foods into delicious dishes. Kristen Carey, Nourish 123’s owner, will lead the hands-on cooking class intended to educate the group on how to make three tasty dishes completely devoid of gluten, soy, dairy, corn, sugar and eggs. Through this demonstration, Carey will empower guests with information on raw foods, plant-based eating, and the Paleo Diet, and teach them how you can eliminate allergies, skin problems, migraines, bloating, digestive issues, joint pain, and other symptoms through food.

Head over to Platform Scottsdale to register for the class and own your health!
