October 26: Pointe Hilton Squaw Peak hosts Halloween carnival for charity
Though the 31st is reserved for trick-or-treating, Halloween festivities don’t have to be sequestered into just one day! On the Friday preceding, October 26, Pointe Hilton Squaw Peak Resort will host a family-fun Halloween event from 5-7pm – Pumpkins at the Peak.
In its 16th year, the annual event transforms the resort’s River Ranch into a spooky fun-filled carnival with games, live music, snack booths, craft tables and other family activities. I attended the event last year and although my daughter was too young to engage in the activities (she was under 2 years old at the time), River Ranch was filled with happy faces as kids played carnival games like the Cake Walk, Bean Bag Toss, and crafted paper spiders and gift bags.
As an entrance fee, guests are asked to bring two cans of food (per person) or $5 per person to benefit St. Mary’s Food Bank.
Dress up in your favorite costume and head out with the little ones for an evening of spooky fun while supporting a great cause!
