The 3.5 liter Elemaris XL Water Pitcher is the company’s newest offering of its consumer products. If there was ever such thing as a ‘smart pitcher’ this one would definitely have a high IQ. The pitcher includes an ‘intelligent’ MAVEA Meter, an indicator that measures your water hardness, lets you know when the picture is full/empty, and when your filter needs to be replaced. Personally, I love the that the base of the pitcher is covered with a rubber, non-slip pad so I’m assured it won’t tip over when I’m reaching for other items in the fridge. The Elemaris XL’s pour-through lid opens automatically when you pour water in and closes when it is full. The best part? The water actually tastes cleaner than my other water filtration system.

When you purchase your own, it comes with one filter and it is easy to change/install. Replacement filters will run you about $8 and should be changed out every 2 months. If you aren’t drinking filtered water at home now, you might be surprised how much better your foods, tea and coffee taste with it. If you’re buying filtered water now, a small investment in a filtration system will end up saving you money in the long run!
