Hilton Sedona Resort & Spa Offers Four New Travel Packages

Posted on: June 20th, 2011 by Amy Martin No Comments

Recently, Taryn and I trekked up to Sedona for a short, but sweet “Bitecation” and we had the privilege of staying at the Hilton Sedona Resort & Spa. Located just at the entrance of Sedona (coming from Phoenix, that is), the resort is only a 90-minute drive north of Phoenix and 2.5 hours away from the Grand Canyon. Onsite is an 18-hole Championship Golf Course set among the gorgeous Sedona Red Rocks.

You’ll find three heated pools, two restaurants and the area’s largest conference facilities in Northern Arizona here.

Sedona Golf Resort 10th Hole

The Hilton Sedona resort houses 219 rooms including two-room suites with separate living areas and private patios or balconies. In-room amenities include fireplace, flat screen TVs, and a mini-bar. We were lucky enough to stay in their Premium 1 Bedroom Suite which offers a separate living space, two 32 inch LCD flat screens, mini-fridge and wet bar, private vanity area and a balcony overlooking the golf course.

View from our balcony

The view from our room was gorgeous. Our suite was so spacious, we were almost ready to move in! The beds were so comfy, we could have slept in all day. Every person we came in contact with at the resort was incredibly friendly and helpful anytime we had a question or need. We didn’t get a chance to order room service, but the in-room dining menu offered ample selections for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

The Hilton Sedona resort’s signature restaurant, The Grille at ShadowRock, offers Chef Daryl Richards’ Southwestern menu of fresh, regional fare for all meals of the day. The patio at The Grille is pet-friendly, so bring your furry friend! In fact, the entire resort is incredibly pet-friendly; upon check-in, your pet even receives a ‘Creative Comforts’ Welcome Packages filled with pet pampering treats. In-room pet amenities include a special Crypton Clean Pet Pillow, two Hilton pet bowls and a place-mat. Everyone is welcome at the Hilton! Keeping that same thought in mind, Hilton Sedona was recently recognized by Travel Alternatives Group (TAG) for its commitment to genuinely welcoming the LGBT community. “We are extremely honored to receive this approval from TAG,” said Edgar Lozoya, General Manager of Hilton Sedona Resort & Spa. “We feel that it is important to support our local LGBT community and welcome all travelers to our world-renowned destination.” Recently, the Hilton Sedona partnered with The Arizona Pride Guide to give away a commitment ceremony at the property to a deserving couple.
