Cookies That Care Event

Posted on: March 1st, 2011 by Taryn Jeffries 1 Comment

When we started out to with the inspiration to host a Drop In and Decorate event, we had no idea what we were about to create. We were so excited to be able to partner with Olive & Ivy, who not only generously offered up one of their private dining rooms, but also baked 50 dozen cookies for the event.

The event went off beautifully and at times we were so packed that we had some overflow on the patio.  Everyone was laughing and chatting with their decorator neighbors and having a great time!

We reached out to our community and were overwhelmed with the results.  The Valley’s local businesses rallied behind us and were quick to be a part of our big day. We had over 35 door prizes for those that came out to decorate and many of the cookies decorating supplies were donated as well.

Amy and I cannot thank the local community enough as well as each individual that came out to support Justa Center and Florence Crittenton.  You are all very special to us and were instrumental in bringing smiles to the faces of each member of the charities as well as raising awareness.

We hope to see you all again for our next event!

Thanks to all our donors that made this event possible:
