Next Coffee Company offers gourmet food and a great atmosphere in Glendale

Posted on: July 28th, 2010 by Amy Martin No Comments

Next Coffee Company may sound like just a coffee shop, but it is really so much more! If you’re looking for a place to stop in for lunch with a great atmosphere, free Wi-Fi and a fantastic menu, Next Coffee Company is the place to go.

Next Coffee opened its doors in March of 2008 serving only coffee beverages and providing students with a comfortable, yet trendy place to come to study, visit with friends or just relax with a great cup of java. After 6 months, the staff decided to add a full food menu. Now, Next Coffee serves breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as a hefty menu of coffee drinks, alcoholic beverages and desserts.

Chef Rose Fischer, holding an impressive culinary record having opened New York New York in Las Vegas, creates the gourmet menu entirely on inspiration. Each day, you’ll find something new at Next Coffee Company as the menu is ever-changing. Everything is fresh, healthy and gourmet. While the menu does change every day, you will always find 4 to 5 salads, a huge selection of sandwiches, wraps and, at least, one vegetarian option. Prices are affordable, but portions are large enough to share with a friend. Always on the menu are customer favorites like Tuna Salad Stuffed Tomato, Turkey Sandwich and a Chicken Sandwich variation, but if you are looking for something specific, you can create your own signature sandwich to your liking!

Next Coffee uses a local roaster and all beverages are hand-crafted by well-trained baristas on staff. While you are there, try a Himalayan Hammer, one of their most-ordered coffee drinks. The Himalayan Hammer can be served hot, iced or blended and is described as “Chai enhanced with espresso”. It is a truly delicious drink!

As if delicious food and drinks were not enough, Next Coffee also hosts a variety of events. Once a month, it hosts a Comedy Night (next one coming up is July 27th) and local bands perform on Friday nights. Check out other promotions and events like Wine Club Wednesday for wine tastings and Powerball Wednesdays on their website at nextcoffeecompany.com

Next Coffee Company features and displays artwork from local artists on its walls which makes for a fun, eclectic atmosphere. Artists can display their work for sale in the café at no charge as Next Coffee Company does not take a commission. It’s quite apparent the staff at Next Coffee is an avid supporter of the community as they encourage talent and creativity.
