New Menu | The House Brasserie’s New Cocktails: Sip Spring by the Glassful

Posted on: April 24th, 2017 by Taryn Jeffries No Comments

The House Brasserie is currently celebrating five years in the heart of downtown Scottsdale. This local hotspot is esteemed for its contemporary American fare handcrafted by award-winning Chef Matt Carter. The setting isn’t too shabby either, as the restaurant is set inside a splendidly restored, tree-lined former private residence.  If you’re a craft cocktail fan, you know that The House is home to a broad list of hand-pressed cocktails and eclectic wine and beer lists.  With patio season at its peak here in the Valley, The House has just rolled out an all-new drink menu overflowing with the farm-fresh characteristics of the spring.

New Spring Cocktail Menu at The House BrasserieBilly Bessinger, GM/Bar Manager, (a House staple since opening day), designed this new drink menu that is accentuated by nine innovative craft cocktails.  Take your taste buds on a tropical vacation with the Tiki-inspired Snowbird, Bessinger says, thanks to Zubrowka bison grass vodka, a red-hot European import boasting delicious coconut and vanilla notes.  Or savor the fresh flavors of spring with the new Tequila Funrise that contrasts the sweetness of fresh blueberry and lavender honey, with herbal Galliano liquor and bold Don Julio blanco tequila. Or perhaps you’d like to stick with a Scottsdale stalwart, like The House’s signature Smoked Manhattan, and watch as the staff “lights the whole bar on fire,” Bessinger says, only half kidding. “We’ve always been known as a whiskey bar, so we had to keep this fan favorite featuring alder wood that’s literally smoked to order.”

Feel free to pair your cocktail of choice with Chef Matt Carter’s latest seasonal dinner menus, as well as weekend brunch featuring a table side mimosa cart, Saturdays and Sundays from 11am until 3pm.
