Doughnut Worry, Be Happy! Fractured Prune offering free donuts this week!

Ah, doughnuts! Sometimes there is nothing better in the morning than that sweet, round treat. A rush of sugar accompanied with a cup of coffee and there’s nothing you can’t get done. From plain and simple to decorated and decadent, Fractured Prune is known for their hot, made to order and customizable cake doughnuts. Their gourmet doughnuts are made with unique flavor combinations and fresh ingredients.

In honor of National Doughnut Day, Fractured Prune will be all week long leading up to the beloved foodie holiday.

Monday, May 28th | Buy a dozen doughnuts and you’ll get a dozen of their French Toast doughnuts for only $9.95
Tuesday, May 29th | Buy a dozen and you’ll get a dozen OC Sand Doughnuts for only $9.95
Wednesday, May 30th | Buy a dozen and you’ll get a dozen Rocky Shores doughnuts for only $9.95
Thursday, May 31st | Buy a dozen and you’ll get a dozen Birthday Cake doughnuts for only $9.95
Friday, June 1st | This is it! National Doughnut Day and anyone that visits Fractured Prune will get a free OC Sand doughnut!

**Also, if you come in Monday through Thursday wearing any kind of doughnut clothing you’ll get a free doughnut!**

In order to get us in the mood for National Doughnut Day, Fractured Prune made a special delivery to my office and boy, was there excitement among my coworkers! We all gathered around the warm, sweet-smelling box. The anticipation was heavy while everyone gathered around to see what sweet treats were housed inside the box.

Our box was filled with sugary smells and we had such a hard time figuring out which ones to dig into first. Here’s the lowdown of these delivered delights:

Bacon Bomb | maple glaze, cinnamon sugar and crumbled bacon
Blueberry Hill | blueberry glaze and powdered sugar
Carnival | honey glaze and carnival sprinkles
Coffee Cake | mocha glaze, graham crackers and powdered sugar
Cookies & Cream | vanilla glaze and cookie crumbs
Death by Chocolate | chocolate glaze, chocolate sprinkles and cookie crumbs
Dulce de Leche | caramel glaze and powdered sugar
French Toast | maple glaze and cinnamon sugar
Ms. Prunella | mixed berry glaze and cinnamon sugar
OC Sand | honey glaze and cinnamon sugar
Salted Caramel | caramel glaze and sea salt
Birthday Cake | vanilla glaze, carnival sprinkled and mini marshmallows

We portioned off all of our doughnuts and the whole team had a chance to sample them. It was impossible to select a favorite. The flavors were all upfront and delivered on what they promised. Bonus – now I know how to get my coworkers to come together, but we already knew that’s what Fractured Prune doughnuts can do!
