News | Food Grads Aims to Close Workforce Gap

Posted on: October 10th, 2017 by Taryn Jeffries No Comments

The launch of a new website, Food Grads,  is making strides in shaping the workforce for employers in the Food & Beverage industry. Founded by Nicole Gallace, FoodGrads.com will shape the future of the industry by providing the long overdue link between students / recent graduates and the many employers in the industry across North America.

Food Grads Aims to Close Workforce GapFood Grads operates with no government (or otherwise) funding and relies exclusively on industry business to join. Membership however offers an extensive number of benefits and still meets the budgets of the small industry players. Benefits include access to the growing student database, company profile, job board postings and much more.

“We are dedicated to keeping the pipeline full, by encouraging the best and brightest to choose food. Membership to FoodGrads is like an insurance policy.” Says Gallace, “Employers can go to one place to find people with the right education, skills and relevant work experience to join their organization.”

As the platform grows with more students and more members, Food Grads can expand to provide even more benefits to an even larger market. The limits are endless with the goal to provide a connection to the industry globally.
