News | Wrigley Mansion Gets $1M Facelift
The Wrigley Mansion has long been one of the most iconic addresses in the Valley, originally built in 1929 by chewing gum mogul, William Wrigley Jr. With over $1 million dollars having been dedicated to the modernizing and renovating of this gorgeous space, guests will be delighted with a new experience and look.
Wrigley Mansion Renovations to Date
The Mansion is the perfect spot to say, “I Do” and brides and grooms will love the updates. The Bridal Suite has been updated with new furniture and carpeting. This secluded, comforting space is the perfect place to take a breath, relax and freshen up before making that once-in-a-lifetime experience. The newly restructured welcoming space and foyer boasts ample room and accommodations for visitors to move about and mingle. The Mansion’s Breakfast Room has been updated with new draperies, a chandelier and revamped wood paneling creating a brilliant, sunny and welcoming atmosphere.
The men’s and women’s restrooms have also received a facelift. The women’s space had gotten fresh new faucets, sinks, light fixtures, mirror frames, vanities, gold wallpaper and signage along with other improvements. The men’s space has received new faucets, sinks, light fixtures, signage, door handles along with 1930’s artwork and adornments.
Wrigley Mansion Renovations Still To Come
There are still several renovations set to take place, from now through 2018, and when all is said and done, the Wrigley Mansion will retain its elegant, luxe look and feel with an emphasis on Spanish, California Monterey and Mediterranean styles with modern amenities that guests have come to appreciate and expect.
“When you’re taking on renovations of this magnitude at a property with this much history, it’s important that every step is done right,” said Wrigley Mansion’s owner, Jamie Hormel. “We’ve worked tirelessly to make sure that we’re preserving what everyone loves about the Mansion while modernizing it and making it as comfortable and accommodating as possible for future generations.”
