Events | Elly’s Brunch & Cafe Collects New Shoes for Valley Children
Every year as children head back to school, they are in need of clothing, shoes and supplies to start off the school year. Elly’s Brunch & Café will be collecting new athletic shoes in support of Child Crisis of Arizona for kids as they get ready to head back to school this August. The shoes can be for boys and girls ages K-12. The Shoe Drive will start on Saturday, July 15 and run through Saturday, July 22. They will collect the shoes at the entrance as diners come in for breakfast and lunch.
Child Crisis of Arizona’s mission is to provide a safe environment for Arizona’s children. Child Crisis of Arizona offers a variety of services for children including Emergency Children’s Shelter, Foster Care & Adoption services, and Early Education Services. The shoe drive will help the children of Child Crisis of Arizona return to school this year with one new pair of shoes.
All day long, Elly’s Brunch & Café serves up nearly 100 different dishes, including breakfast favorites such six savory Skillets & Frittatas, plus a dozen varieties of pancakes and crepes, including Elly’s Specialty Baked Pancakes, or baked-to-order Apple or German pancakes made with extra eggs so they rise in the oven to fluffy, fork-tender perfection. But no breakfast or brunch is complete without a cup or two of Elly’s fresh-brewed premium coffee and Greek-style Espresso and Cappuccino drinks, which are also offered to go via a walk-up window.
