Have you ever been sneaking your child’s Easter basket candy and wondered to yourself which beers would pair best with those love-them-or-hate-them plump and puffy Peeps? Well, you won’t have to wonder much longer! The Phoenix Ale Brewery Central Kitchen will be hosting a PEEPS & Pints4Pups tasting event April 7th through April 9th.

If you’ve never wondered, well now it’s on your radar and this one-of-a-kind tasting is coming to you the weekend before Easter. Beer enthusiasts won’t want to miss the chance to taste test a collection of four specialty ales paired with an assortment of seasonal PEEPS® Brand Marshmallow Candies during the special event.

The PEEPS & Pints4Pups tasting event will cost $10 per person. Each brew has been meticulously chosen to perfectly complement a flavored Marshmallow PEEPS candy.

PEEPS® & Pints4Pups at Phoenix Ale Brewery Central KitchenEach PEEPS & Pints4Pups flight will include

  • A Sour Watermelon PEEPS paired with Watermelon Ale
  • A Party Cake PEEPS with Biltmore Blonde Ale
  • A Milk Chocolate Dipped PEEPS paired with King George Amber Ale
  • A Traditional Yellow PEEPS with Orange Peel IPA

Central Kitchen will contribute $3 from the sale of each PEEPS & Pints4Pups flight to the Arizona Small Dog Rescue, a 501(c)(3) no-kill animal shelter for homeless, unwanted, abandoned or abused dogs and cats.

“Correct. You’ve probably never heard of a pairing of beers with PEEPS marshmallow candies, because we’re pretty sure it’s never been done here before,” said Rich Stark, founder of Central Kitchen. “But we’ve carefully selected these combinations because they’re actually quite tasty – for people, not dogs,” Stark added.

Guests who visit Central Kitchen on Sunday, April 9 from 11am until to 3pm will also have the opportunity to get to know and adopt pups from Arizona Small Dog Rescue. Animal lovers who aren’t searching for a new pet are encouraged to bring in their own dogs for a complimentary Easter photo from Hatton Photographic Design, complete with bunny ears and other photo props.

PEEPS & Pints4Pups is a family friendly event. All friendly, well behaved, leashed dogs are welcome. The event will also feature Lorenzo’s Dog Training and free pet giveaways.

Dog owners are welcome to stay and enjoy a PEEPS & Pints4Pups tasting or a meal on the pet friendly patio at Central Kitchen.

The PEEPS® & Pints4Pups event is not affiliated with PEEPS® Brand Marshmallow Candies. PEEPS® is a trademark of Just Born, Inc., Bethlehem, PA, USA. All rights reserved.
