Teaspressa Tea Expands, New Valley Location Coming Soon
Teaspressa, a Phoenix-based gourmet beverage company and creator of the first and only healthy alternative to traditional coffee and tea, announced today that it will be expanding locally and nationally. The company’s expansion will include the grand opening of its new flagship location, new product launches and partnerships. As of Feb. 1, Teaspressa will no longer be operating out of its current shared space at 7033 E. Main St., Scottsdale, AZ 85251, and will be transitioning to a new location in the Phoenix area.
Teaspressa is a pioneer in gourmet tea preparation, handcrafting the first and only hybrid beverage that combines the best of both the coffee and tea worlds. Teaspressa’s Signature Tea Blends are created using a patented Tea Concentration Technology developed by Teaspressa’s founder, Allison DeVane. Teaspressa’s Signature Tea Blends are looseleaf and prepared like espresso shots, resulting in gourmet Tea Lattes and coffee-inspired beverages that contain as much caffeine as espresso, but provide consumers the health benefits of traditional tea, which can be made at home or in Teaspressa’s cafes. The proprietary process currently includes four Teaspressa Tea Blends each handcrafted by DeVane, which will be expanding to include an on-the-go Teaspressa tea bag product and new signature blends, which will be sold across the U.S and Teaspressa’s new café.
“We are excited to expand to a new location – a space that will serve as Teaspressa’s headquarters and signature café,” said Allison DeVane, founder of Teaspressa. “Last year, we had exponential growth with the opening of our first location and a spike in online sales. This year, we will be expanding even more with new partnerships and products. The new location will be a vital component of continued growth and will serve as a signature café model to be replicated throughout the U.S.”
The new flagship café will serve barista style Teaspressa signature drinks comparable to lattes, mochas and other gourmet coffee beverages made with Teapressa’s signature shots of concentrated tea. The café will feature a specialty patent pending industrial-grade proprietary brewing machine designed by DeVane that will be replicated and used in all branded Teaspressa cafés throughout the U.S.
Teaspressa’s first phase of café expansions will be part of its new partnership with Primal Kitchen, a clean-eating culinary concept developed by Mark Sisson, best selling Paleo diet expert and former elite endurance athlete. Primal Kitchen and Teaspressa will be launching more than five health conscious restaurants in 2017 beginning with the opening of its first location in South Bend, Ind. in June. These Teaspressa locations will be equipped with Teaspressa’s signature brewing machine, products and baristas to foster communiTea throughout the country.
“Moving from Teaspressa’s current shared space in Old Town to open a Teaspressa signature branded café is vital to Teaspressa’s current and future growth,” said DeVane. “Launching a flagship café was a strategic business move that enables Teaspressa to be leveraged across markets effectively and successfully.”
In line with its business philosophy to connect with the communiTea and encourage others positively, Teaspressa will be partnering with local companies, including Tuft & Needle and Camelback Flower Shop as a part of its continued growth plan.
Until the grand opening of its new café, Teaspressa products will continue to be sold online and at the Desoto Central Market in downtown Phoenix.
