Posted on: October 15th, 2016 by Taryn Jeffries No Comments

Sauerkraut has been around for hundreds of years and combines one of the healthiest, probiotic-rich foods with one of the most time-honored traditions of preparing foods. Did you know that it is believed that the act of preserving cabbage can be dated back to the fourth century B.C.? A few things have changed since those early days and there is no denying that there are few things better than crisp and tart sauerkraut matched with layers of flavorful meat in between two sliced of bread. Starting on Monday, October 17th we encourage you to celebrate National Kraut Sandwich Week with some of these stellar sandwiches.
