Friday Bites With Brynn Martin

Brynn Martin is the co-founder of Movement Restoration, a massage therapy concept in Scottsdale, Arizona, focused on restoring natural movement to the body through massage treatments. She manages business operations while remaining dedicated to helping individuals enhance overall health and quality of life through massage and movement, the foundation on which Movement Restoration was built.

The consummate ambassador of movement doesn’t just talk the talk; Brynn Martin walks the walk…and runs, bikes, hikes and embraces any activity that keeps her on the move outdoors, especially training for triathlons.

In 2014, Brynn Martin completed her first Half Ironman and is currently training for her 2nd.  She is also an official 2016 brand ambassador athlete for Newton Running Company. She loves to train because she loves food. These are her top 5 places when she faces a calorie deficit.

Healthy eating can be a struggle when training. This place makes healthy eating effortless. The whole menu is sincerely crafted you can’t go wrong! If you’re looking to add some flavor to your day go with the Moroccan Half Chicken. Quench your thirst with the Matcha Lemonade!

Cheat Day | Ingo’s Tasty Food
Everyone has a guilty pleasure and mine happens to be hamburgers. To increase your caloric intake get the Paris Texas Burger for your protein. To balance it out get the Fresh Shattered Potato Chips for your carbohydrates. If you insist on portion control you can order Ingo’s hamburgers in a slider size. In all seriousness, I must note that I would never recommend this meal pre-race! Ingo’s is the best race day victory celebration!

Don’t Chance It | Mcfate Brewing Co.
When it comes to beer and food, Mcfate Brewing Co. is unavoidable.  The Jess is my favorite pizza. Don’t get me started on the Poutine. The Fatality is my favorite beer. And yes, this beer does live up to its name!

The Most Important Meal | Zookz Sandwiches
Phoenix’s breakfast scene is on point right now! And the competition is stiff. But, who doesn’t love a good breakfast sandwich? Do yourself a favor and order No. 66! Zookz is also great for a simple and quick salad. If you choose to keep it healthy order the No. 3!

Don’t Forget Dessert | Fatty Daddy’s
From my top 5 picks, it is evident that splurge when it comes to food! Dessert is no exception. I have the biggest sweet tooth and Fatty Daddy is my place to satisfy the cravings! I get the Urkel with a caramel macaroon and roasted marshmallow! So outrageously good! If the Fatty Daddy is too much for you to handle order it mini.
