Sizzling Summer Specials at The Market

The Market by Jennifer’s holds a very special place in my heart and my belly. I first met Chef Owner Jennifer Russo a few years ago and was immediately struck by her infectious joy and obvious passion for what she does. Aside form the obvious of creating spectacular meals, she also created memories. Whether she is part of a catering affair, which is how her business originated, or setting the scene for a date night, family dinner or a special menu for a wine dinner, Jennifer Russo and her team create memories with every bite.

Jennifer Russo and The Market by Jennifer's Summer SpecialsMy first meeting with Jennifer was over dinner, of course. There were only three of us, so it was a special dinner indeed. She walked me through the creation of every component of every dish and I hung on every word. There was so much thought and care put into every aspect of every dish and that represents Jennifer Russo and her team at The Market by Jennifer’s so very well.

I recently had an anniversary party for PhoenixBites and we hired The Market by Jennifer’s for catering. The team that came to prep for the event was so thoughtful and prepared, they made everything so much easier for me. Hosting a large event is always hard work, but they made it so easy and there was so much food!! Everyone raved about the entire spread. It was all beautifully presented and perfectly seasoned and flavored. The same thought and care goes into the dishes at the restaurant. I cannot say enough great things about Jennifer and the restaurant.

You really need to check them out the next time you are in the area. I have been in on a weekend afternoon with one of my sons and he loved their Butter Board and, of course, dessert. I have attended a few of their wine dinners with friends and colleagues and have never, ever been disappointed in a meal or dish.

Weekly Specials at The Market by Jennifer’s

Wednesdays| Buy one sandwich, get one sandwich free. This special extends to the restaurants chicken, prime rib, pork or wrap sandwiches sold with a beverage between the hours of 11am and 3pm. This special is valid through Labor Day. The buy one/ get one will work for another sandwich that is of equal or lesser value.

Wednesday through Friday| You’re invited to The Market’s ‘Beat the Heat” happy hour. Guests can enjoy iced coffee drink, iced teas, lemonades and soda for just $1 with any food purchase between 2pm and  5pm throughout the summer.

Fridays| From now through Labor Day, guests can enjoy an appetizer and two glasses of house wine for only $20 on Fridays.

Three Course Summer Sizzling Prix-Fixe Menu| This special summer menu will be available from July through August and will cost $50 (not including tax or gratuity) for two. House wines are available for $5 when paired with this menu. Menu items will include Panzanella, a Half BBQ Petite Hen & Succotash and Strawberry Short Cake. You can add on house made Mac & Cheese or Baked Beans for an additional cost.

Breakfast Weekend| Breakfast weekend is coming up July 30th through August 2nd and The Market has a special choice just for you if you are looking to participate. For $14 you can enjoy a Stacked Enchilada, a combination of carne adovada, pinto beans, crispy corn tortillas, organic chicken eggs, queso fresco, avocado, pickled shallot, lime and cilantro. This specialty dish will be available during Arizona Breakfast Weekend from 5pm until close on Thursday and Friday and then from 9am until 3pm on Saturday and Sunday.
