St. Francis Summer Menu Highlights Summer Veggies

Posted on: May 12th, 2016 by Taryn Jeffries No Comments

Summer is just around the corner, whether we are ready to embrace it or not. With the changing of the seasons, we will start to see a lot of menu changes at our favorite restaurants.

We’re excited and eager to bring you all the latest updates in our returning Summer Menu Series. First up is St. Francis. While they’re known for their wood-fired cuisine, they will be introducing some refreshing twists. The best and brightest of summer’s vegetable bounty are highlighted, resulting in light dishes that still have that familiar mesquite and almond wood flavors.

Chef Aaron Chamberlin has added some of his favorite dishes to the summer menu, in the hopes that they will soon be your favorites too.

St. Francis Summer Menu Highlights

Carrot Ginger Soup| A savory, vitamin-packed soup made from roasted local carrots, fresh ginger, and creme fraiche.

Fire Roasted Eggplant Dip| Pureed, fire-roasted local eggplant that is completely charred on the outside and delivers a smokiness reminiscent of a summer campfire, layered over yogurt and pine nuts for a cool and creamy dip served with housemade bread

Roasted Carrot & Avocado| A labor of love; local carrots are oven-roasted, seared and tossed with sliced avocado, local goat cheese, housemade croutons, mixed green and topped with orange poppy seed vinaigrette
