This spring, the Café launched a new wholesale bakery offering with a team of seven pastry cooks led by Executive Pastry Chef Sarah Chisholm, making it the largest gourmet bakery in downtown Phoenix. The Café continues to offer a robust menu of daily, fresh-baked pastries to restaurant patrons and now delivers daily to independent coffee shops and cafes, including all six Valley Cartel Coffee Labs; Futuro, located inside the new Palabra Collective in downtown Phoenix and Peixoto Coffee in Chandler.

Growing the pastry team has also allowed Chamberlin to expand his catering division, offering quick, healthy and locally-sourced breakfast, lunch and dinner for downtown Phoenix businesses and events. Catering includes “drop and go” services with free delivery within a five-mile radius of the Café and “roll up and receive” service for curbside catering pick-up.

“We follow the philosophy that food brings the community together. Our new wholesale bakery division and expanded catering services is just one more way we are connecting the community,” said Chamberlin. “Our “drop and go” catering is a great example of this, every day we are delivering fresh, health-minded meals to downtown businesses for everything from small breakfast meetings of five to larger luncheons of 20 or more. Feeding the community is my passion and we want to make it as easy as possible.”

Phoenix Public Market Café specializes in fresh market cuisine using ingredients sourced directly from the adjacent farmer’s market. Offering a simple, health-focused menu of hearty sandwiches on fresh-baked bread, robust salads and slow-cooked meats, the Café also features an expansive bakery that is well-known for seasonal macarons. The bakery features a wide variety of pastries and bread, from pretzels, bagels and power bars to scones, sweet bread and cookies, including raw, vegan and gluten-free varieties.
