Burger Battle: Who Will Be Named Burger King (Or Queen)?

This March, over a dozen of the Valley’s best chefs will gather for an epic Burger Battle at the Hotel Valley Ho.

From 6:30pm until 9:30pm on March 24th, you can join Valley locals to enjoy a variety of mouthwatering burger creations from the chefs behind restaurants like Aioli Gourmet Burgers, Tavern Americana, Cold Beers & Cheeseburgers, Bootleggers, Casino Arizona, Casablanca, Hopdoddy Burger Bar, LuLu’s Sorbetto, District American Kitchen, Zinburger among others. You’ll be able to have a hand in naming the People’s Choice Burger Winner, while a panel of local celebrity judges will work their way through all of the Burger Battle entries and the top two winners will receive a golden ticket to the World Food Championships in November.

The Burger Battle is being presented by Leinenkugel’s, because what goes better with a burger than an ice cold beer, and sponsored by Jennie-O. Your ticket into the event will get you all the burger bites you can stomach, some ice cold Lenenkugels beer to wash it down, fries and dessert. There will also be an array of lawn games and live entertainment by the Groove Merchants.

You can purchase general admission tickets for $65 before the event or $75 at the door. There will also be VIP tickets available for $85 and will get you early entry, a meet and greet with local celebrity judges, a special VIP gift and access to an exclusive lounge area.

All net proceeds raised will support the non-profit Scottsdale League for the Arts in its effort to promote the arts and arts education organizations in the Phoenix metropolitan area, via annual fundraisers such as the Scottsdale Culinary Festival and The Friends of James Beard Benefit Dinner. Since 2002, the League has contributed more than $4 million to numerous organizations such as Ballet Arizona, Childsplay, and Free Arts of Arizona.
