Hickman’s Family Farm Hosts The Perfect Game Day Snack Contest
Local Chefs & Foodies Compete to Win $1000 for Local Charity of Choice, Sponsored by Hickman’s Family Farms
Hickman’s Family Farms has challenged chefs and foodies from around the Valley including: food bloggers, a food truck, corporate chefs, Valley celebrity chefs and other local restaurants to create a football team-themed deviled egg recipe – The Perfect Game Day Snack.
Why are these locals joining together for this contest? Because the big game-day is coming, and who doesn’t love deviled eggs and there’s no better perfect game-day snack; deviled eggs are shaped like footballs; can be themed to your favorite team by using creative, flavorful ingredients and trimmings; they pack a powerful punch of protein, vitamins and nutrients in your diet and they pair well with all your favorite game-day foods and beverages too!
The chef with the best deviled egg will win $1000 to be given to their charity of choice. All of the deviled egg creations will be judged on flavor and creativity. A panel of celebrity judges will decide who has the best recipe for “The Perfect Game-Day Snack.” The judging will take place on Thursday, January 28th and all of the contributors recipes will be provided on January 29th, just in time for you to pick your favorites to recreate for your game-watching party.
