It’s Time to Become an Empanada Aficionada
The holiday season is the time for tamales and by now you have probably had your fill. But, empanadas? Empanadas are the way to go in 2015.
Don’t know what an empanada is or how to make one? No worries there, Luci’s Healthy Marketplace is ready to teach you on January 18th. Chef James Monaci is prepped to teach you the art of making these stuffed folded dough pocket treats. The list of fillings is almost endless.
Chef Monaci will teach attendees how to make three different kinds of empanadas as well as how you can make your own creations using fresh ingredients as well as the history and traditional way empanadas are made everywhere from Spain to South America.
You can join in on this class for only $49.99 per person, which includes instruction and a glass of wine. Reservations can be made by visiting Luci’s website. The class runs from 6:30pm to 8:30pm.
