Summer Menu Series: The Second Story Liquor Bar
The Second Story Liquor Bar will return from it summer holiday with great stories of the group travel together. Their two-week travel adventure will include stops in LA, Santa Barbara, Napa, Chicago, Miami, London, France and Italy. “This will be our first culinary trip as team since we opened in March,” said Second Story Liquor Bar Owner Tommy Plato. “We are excited to become inspired by the unique tastes of each destination and we know our travels will spark many ideas to keep up our commitment of changing our menu every 6 weeks.”
Their first dinner upon their return will be Season 1 Episode 3 and is expected to really tell the story of their journey together.
The Bites
Intro: Ahi poke Asian Chopped Salad, Inside out Caprese, Beef Tartare Nicoise or Coconut lobster panna cotta
Prologue: Mushroom flat-bread, Crab tamale cakes, “Cockles & Mussels Alive, alive-O” or Foie of the day
Plot: Buttermilk fried quail, Duck confit rillettes, Venison or Potato wrapped Ahi
Finale: Beef tenderloin, Lamb, Five spice & honey glazed duck or Olive crusted Bass

No pairings are noted in the menu, so the purchase of cocktails, wine or beer will be extra
