Get Caffeinated… One Dr. Drip at a Time

The folks at Dr. Drip Coffee offer a clever product for coffee lovers on-the-go – brew a single cup of coffee, anywhere and anytime with their portable coffee and coffee filters. Rest a single serving package atop your coffee cup (with four “legs”, they are designed to fit your mug snugly… no spills!), pour in hot water over the grounds and through the filter and you’ll have a cup of all natural, freshly roasted Arabica beans. In a nutshell: If you can find hot water, you can have coffee!

Keep in mind, this isn’t ‘instant coffee’ and definitely does not taste the same. I had a chance to try the Organic Tonic blend and found it to be medium-bodied, perfect for me.

However, I like my medium-body coffee strong and most often, I brew double-strength. To get my usual strength from Dr. Drip, I’d have to stop pouring in water near the halfway mark. Luckily for me, I only need about a half cup to get my day started (I tend to believe good things come in small doses!).

For its convenience alone, it’s definitely a useful and quality product. A bonus: their packaging, filters and coffee are recyclable, compostable and biodegradable.
