Deseo Hosts Nuevo Latino Rum Dinner on September 15th
Did somebody say rum?! Deseo, the Westin Kierland’s signature restaurant, will host a Nuevo Latino Rum Dinner on Thursday, September 15th as the restaurant’s “foodie” event of the year. The event will feature a reception, four-course dinner with live entertainment and of course, lots of rum!
The evening will begin at 6:30pm with a reception including passes of rum cocktails and live liquid nitrogen bartending demos by ‘Master Mixologist’ Ramsey Pimentel who will be flying in from Miami just for the event. The dinner will feature four courses of Nuevo Latino specialty dishes paired specifically with DonQ Rums and presented by the restaurant’s Chef de Cuisine, Roberto Madrid, and Ramsey Pimentel. Deseo will also be serving off their exclusively South American wine list for guests to experience the featured Latin winemakers or deseo’s signature Muddle Drinks, Mojitos, and Caipirinhas from the restaurant’s Muddle Bar.
As for entertainment, resident artist Nelson Garcia-Miranda will be painting live while Latin music plays in the background for a full Latino experience.
Cost to attend the Nuevo Latino Rum dinner is $48 per person and includes the four-courses with rum pairings. The full menu will be available additionally. Advanced reservations are required as seating is limited. To reserve your seat, call 480-624-1202.
