Cool Off with New Summer Drinks at Fogo de Chao

The summer heat is on! The folks at Fogo de Chão have created three new refreshing cocktails for guests to take a brisk respite from the ubiquitous Valley heat.

The new beverages include the Tarragon Pineapple Tini and two batidas (paying homage to Fogo’s heritage, batidas are the most famous blended frozen drink of the Brazilian region): the Grand Mango Batida and Cool Coconut Batida.

Check out the recipes for these new fruity drinks below:

Tarragon Pineapple Tini

“A refreshing martini utilizing Patrón Reposado Tequila and pineapple juice, with fresh lime and tarragon to enhance aroma and taste.”

Glass of choice: Martini

  • 2oz.  Patrón Reposado Tequila
  • 2oz.  Tarragon Sprigs
  • 3oz. Pineapple Juice
  • 1oz. Fresh Cubed Pineapple
  • 1/2oz.  Bar Syrup or Sugar
  • 1 Lime Squeezed
  • Garnish: Pineapple Wedge & Tarragon Sprig

In a shaker add all ingredients. Add fresh ice. Shake hard to create a light foam on top of the cocktail. Strain and pour in a martini glass. Add garnish and serve.

 

Grand Mango Batida

“A perfect blend of mango and sweetened milk with a touch Grand Marnier, for just the right amount of orange flair.”

Glass of choice: Rocks

  • 1 1/2oz.  Ypioca Prata Cachaça
  • 1/2oz.  Grand Marnier
  • 1oz.  Fresh Mango
  • 1 1/2oz.  Monin Mango Puree
  • 1 1/2oz.  Sweetened Condensed Milk

Garnish: Mango Cube & Mint Sprig. In a shaker add all ingredients. Add ice and blend. Pour in a rocks glass. Add garnish and serve.

 

Cool Coconut Batida

“A creamy blend of coconut and cream,with a touch of crème de cacao, to give this cachaça an irresistible taste profile.”

Glass of choice: Rocks (Rim Glass with Coconut Shavings)

  • 1oz.  Ciroc Coconut Vodka
  • 1/2oz.  Crème de cacao
  • 1oz.  Ypioca Prata Cachaça
  • 2oz.  Cream of coconut
  • 1 1/3oz.  Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • Garnish: Strawberry & Mint Leaf

In a shaker add all ingredients. Add ice and blend. Pour in a rocks glass. Add garnish and serve
