Sedona Taste: The Grill at ShadowRock Offers Selections at Upcoming Culinary Events

Posted on: June 7th, 2011 by Amy Martin No Comments

The annual Sedona Taste 2011 event and Dine in Sedona Restaurant Week are just right around the corner! Luckily, Sedona is only a hop, skip and a jump away for us Phoenicians and what better times to visit than this weekend as both events kick off.

The Sedona Taste 2011 event will take place at Los Abrigados Resort & Spa on Sunday, June 12th from 4pm-8pm as local restaurants offer bites and sips all to raise funds for a great cause. Proceeds of the event and auction will benefit The Boys and Girls Club of Northern Arizona. The Dine in Sedona Restaurant Week kicks off on Saturday, June 11th and will run through June 26th with a number of local restaurants offering specially priced pre-fixe menus.

A front-running participating restaurant for both events, The Grille at ShadowRock (the signature restaurant at Hilton Sedona Resort & Spa), has some delectable plans in store!

Celebrated Chef Daryl Richards, executive chef at the Hilton, has created a special chilled seafood Ceviche Trio featuring sea bass, rock ship and diver scallops to be served at Sedona Taste. For the pre-fixe Dine in Sedona Restaurant Week menu, Chef Richards has chosen some of the restaurant’s most popular items including the ShadowRock Salad with Ricotta Salata, Mixed Olive and Spanish Pepper Vinaigrette and Red Trout served with Baby Potatoes and Garlic Sautéed. In addition to some regular offerings, Chef Richards has also created a few new items exclusively for the event such as the Yellow Tomato Gazpacho with Fresh Basil and Lemon Cascabel Cream. The special Dine in Sedona Week menu includes a selection of three courses and is priced at $29.95 per person.
