Bonfire Grill and Bar in Scottsdale is hosting a Cinco de Mayo celebration sponsored by Peligroso Tequila. There will be $5 margaritas and shots and beer specials all day.

Celebrate Cinco with a performance by Grupo Libertade, which blends the Afro-Brazilian styles of samba, samba reggae, samba Afro, ijexa, coco, and maracatu into a perfectly danceable mix perfect for the holiday.
All four Dos Gringos valley locations will be throwing huge parties from open to close Thursday May 5th. The margaritas will be flowing all day at Dos Gringos; be there when our doors open at 11am! This year’s parties will include a mix of live bands, DJs, drink specials, prizes, games, and giveaways. Each location will feature a huge extension for even more room to party the night away! Visit any of the locations in Mesa, South Tempe, Chandler, or Old Town Scottsdale.

Domestic and Mexican beers are offered for $3. The regular menu offers tacos, fajitas, a loco taco salad, tortilla soup or loco wings. Beverage promotions throughout the day include Cabo Wabo tequila, Stoli vodka and Corona beer. A DJ provides music from 10pm-2am.

Legendary Tejano rock band Los Lobos will bring their Latin sound to Talking Stick Resort for a special post-Cinco show.

Owner Azucena Tovar and her culinary team celebrate with a three-course menu featuring black-bean tortilla soup to start, followed by grilled and baked goat, smoked duck and grilled snapper for the main course, and then lime sorbet with strawberry sauce for dessert. Call for reservations.

Live music will dominate each of location, with Roger Clyne & the Peacemakers scheduled to rock Old Town, Metalhead playing the Peoria location and Chuck E. Baby taking the stage in Mesa.

Cruz and Cointreau margaritas and Cruz Tequila are $5 each throughout the evening. and hear music from a live band. Participants receive Cruz shirts, hats and hand-blown shot glasses while supplies last. A band performs. A 21-and-older.

Live mariachi music is featured, a spotted donkey is available for petting and photographs, and Mexican cuisine and drink specials are offered. Order a chimichanga made with roasted chicken or stuffed peppers and add a $2 beer or $4 margarita, or get a Donkey Kick, a specialty drink made with habañero-infused tequila.

Get Coronas for $2 throughout the day. Happy-hour specials, available from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m., include grilled shrimp and guacamole tostada bites, Leo’s street tacos, or the grilled jumbo spinach-and-mushroom quesadilla. The new spring menu includes citrus-glazed mahi mahi and a chicken and goat-cheese salad.
