Paso Robles Wine Week Brings the Grand Tasting Tour to the Valley

Posted on: January 20th, 2011 by Amy Martin No Comments

February 7th-11th, Paso Robles Wine Country brings the Paso Robles Wine Week to Scottsdale with an exciting schedule of festivities including the Grand Tasting Tour.

Wine enthusiasts are invited to experience a series of events spotlighting over 30 California winemakers, winery owners and representatives. The Paso Robles Wine Week events will include a wide selection wine-paired dinners. Among these locations are 5th & Wine, Cowboy Ciao, and Rancho Pinot, who will all offer world-class dinners with wine pairings (Dinners ranging in price from $35-$75). Later in the week, enjoy some late-night love with Chef James Porter at Petite Maison as they pair dishes on their “Staff Meal” menu with Paso Robles wines.

The spotlight of the week – The Grand Tasting Tour – takes place on Wednesday, February 9th at Paradise Valley’s El Chorro Lodge from 6pm-8pm. Find a new favorite bottle of wine or taste and mingle with wine-making legends (Robert Hall, Gary Eberle and Vic Roberts of Vina Robles Winery are on the list!). More than 150 wines will be featured and bites will be provided by El Chorro Lodge to complement the complexity of Paso Robles wines. Admission is $55 per person (in advance) or $65 at the door (cash only). To purchase tickets, visit pasowine.com or call 800-549-9463.
