Weekend Guide December 10th-12th

Planning ahead for your weekend out? We’ve highlighted some of our favorite weekend events to make it a little easier (and tastier!).

Here’s our Weekend Guide for December 10th-12th.

Friday, December 10th

  • 10pm-midnight – Chris Galli as Guest Chef for Petite Maison’s Staff Meal & Canned Food Drive

The Hipster cooks again! Friday, December 10th, Chris Galli will suit up his in chef’s coat once again to guest chef for Petite Maison’s Staff Meal. The staff meal will be a part of the restaurant’s canned food drive initiative for St. Mary’s Food Bank. Petite Maison has a goal of 1000 cans to donate and with your help, they are aiming to reach their goal this weekend. 20 cans will get you unlimited refills of PBR Braised Beef Stew, 2 Red Cups and dessert! Saturday, December 11th

  • 8:30am-1pm – FnB serves up at Scottsdale’s Old Town Farmers’ Market

Head on out to Scottsdale’s Old Town Farmers’ Market on Saturday morning to get your hands on some of FnB’s delicious breakfast items. You’ll find Meyer Lemon Lemonade with Mesquite Honey ($1), Donuts ($1), Butterscotch Pudding ($2), Egg Salad Sandwich: mj ciabatta, lemon, yogurt, tahini & bloomdsdale spinach ($9) and add Tender Belly Bacon for $1.   • 1pm-5pm – 2nd Annual Phoenix Tequila Fest – $48

The 2nd Annual Phoenix Tequila Fest is going to be an amazing celebration of food, tequila and mariachi music.  Your admission price is all that you will need as there are no additional tasting fees that you will pay while at the event (this is an amazing perk!). You won’t want to miss the 19th Annual Christmas Mariachi Festival on Saturday night or local favorite Roger Clyne & The Peacemakers closing out the event with a concert on Sunday night.  Your entry fee of $48 gets you all the tequila, food and concert events that your heart can handle!  (Don’t forget that 50% of all proceeds benefit the Boys & Girls Club of the East Valley!).   • 5pm – Wigwam Annual Tree Lighting – FREE

One of the West Valley’s most anticipated holiday events, the Wigwam’s Annual Tree Lighting transform the resort’s front lawn to a winter wonderland of holiday music, hot cocoa and house-made cookies, trolley rides, letter writing to the troops and a special visit from the North Pole. Sunday, December 12th

  • 9am & 11am – Breakfast with Santa at Rico’s American Grill – $27 for adults

Santa is in town and he brought his appetite! Rico’s American Grill at Pointe Hilton Squaw Peak Resort is hosting Breakfast with Santa. Enjoy a full breakfast buffet, cookie decorating, holiday music, pictures with Santa and a special reading of ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas with Mrs. Claus. The buffet will feature a chef-attended omelet station, imported and domestic cheeses, roasted bell pepper-cilantro bisque, carving stations and more.
