Friday, November 19th

• Dinner –Talavera’s Long Meadow Ranch Wine Dinner – $95

No plans for dinner tonight? Head on out to Talavera at the Four Seasons Resort for their Long Meadow Ranch Wine Dinner this evening. The dinner will feature four courses, each paired with wine. Take a look at the menu by following this link.

• 7pm-9:30pm –Date Night: Sushi and More – $60

Classic Cooking, in Scottsdale, is hosting a hands-on class where you will learn how to roll your own sushi! $60 registration (per person), includes wine and beer. From the class, you’ll learn how to cook sushi rice, cut the fish, and roll sushi. Salmon, Tuna, Hamachi, Eel and Surimi will be used. For more details, visit classiccooking.net

Saturday, November 20th

• 9am-5pm –JJ’s Brownies at Briar Patch Marketplace at DC Ranch Market

Experience JJ’s Brownies at Briar Patch Marketplace this weekend at DC Ranch Market! The marketplace will be held at 20715 North Pima Road in Scottsdale, Saturday and Sunday. Briar Patch Marketplace began thirty years ago in north Scottsdale and has grown into one of the largest and most unique arts and crafts shows in Arizona. Briar Patch provides one-stop shopping for unique gifts and holiday gifts, along with home and patio décor, jewelry, unique clothing, specialty foods and so much more. • 5:30pm-6:30pm – Saturday Night Scotch Tastings at the Westin Kierland Resort – $35

Enjoy “Saturday Night Scotch Tastings” at the Library at the Rim Lobby Bar. David Kent, beverage manager for the Resort, describes a little bit about what you may learn during the tasting, “During the presentation, I try to focus on what the group wants to walk away with. We very rarely get into fermentation or how it’s distilled. We usually concentrate on the various Scotch regions and what effect that has on their profiles. When a guest attends, they have the basic knowledge of what a single malt is versus a blended malt”. The tastings cost $35 and can include a hand-rolled cigar.
