Taryn Jeffries

Taryn grew up in a small town in Illinois with a doting Grandmother who taught her the way around a kitchen.  With 13 Aunts and Uncles there were always family activities and food was a major factor.  With a diverse family background there were always new things to try and test.

Since then Taryn has tried her hand at replicating old family favorites as well as testing out new delicacies for her own family.  Her kitchen is teeming with food related magazines and countless cookbooks, dog-eared and full of post it notes.  Always willing to test her palate and share her experiences with others, especially her two small and sometimes finicky children.  After the birth of her last child, she was able to flex her domestic muscles with almost a year at home by creating week-long menus and baking daily treats for the kids, in the hopes of channeling her best Desperate Housewife – without the messy drama.  So far, so good!

Taryn is excited to introduce readers to local culinary gems as well as learn a thing or two herself!

Taryn currently resides in Chandler with her husband and two children.
