Chopped…The Class at AndyFood
Ever watched the show Chopped on the Food Network and thought, ‘I could do that’? Now is your chance! Andy Broder of AndyFood has added Chopped… The Class to his list of culinary instructional courses. On July 22nd you will have the opportunity to participate in this fun and moderately competitive experience.
The class, which is $65 per person and from 6:30-9:30pm, will start with a demonstration of the basic skills that will be used that evening. Then, you will draw your main ingredient assignment. You won’t know what your main ingredient will be until the assignments are announced. You will be separated into pairs (you’ll be paired up if you arrive solo, so no worries) and then sent to task with one hour to complete your creations. Each duo will get an “ask the chef” card. There will even be a prize awarded to the winning team.
This is such a great idea and fun way to have a date night and escape the heat all while learning something new. All of Andy’s classes are upbeat and you are sure to make some new friends and possibly a new favorite go to meal.
