Events | 2018 Burger Battle Will Sizzle This March
The Scottsdale League for the Arts believes that the 2018 Burger Battle will be the biggest yet. This year marks the event’s 7th year and there are a lot of things to look forward to.

The Basics
Obviously there will be a bounty of burgers, but what is this whole event all about? The Scottsdale League for the Arts puts on a variety of events throughout the year to support their efforts to promote the arts and arts education organizations throughout the Valley.
The 2018 Burger Battle will feature 15 different restaurants who will present their most mouthwatering burgers. Official judges, made up of local celebrities and culinary experts, will taste them all and agree on a winner of the Judges Choice Award.
Your opinion also counts! You can work your way through the submissions and cast a vote for your favorite. The coolest part? Two lucky chefs will receive a Golden Ticket to compete in the World Food Championships, which is a pretty big deal!
The Bites
You’ll get the chance to sample 15 different burgers with completely different flavor profiles, ingredients and toppings. Find one that you absolutely adore? Go back as many times as you like!
The list of participating restaurants is continuing to grow, but so the following restaurants have been confirmed:

- Asadero Cocina & Catina
- Arizona Wilderness Brewing Company
- Bevvy Food & Drink
- BombAZ Grill
- Casino Arizona
- Cold Beer & Cheeseburgers
- The District
- HandCut Burgers and ChopHouse
- Handlebar Diner
- Hopdoddy Burger Bar
- Hyatt Regency Scottsdale Resort & Spa
- Joe’s Midnight Run
- Mariposa Latin Inspired Grill
- SuperFarm SuperTruck
- Tavern Americana
The Bucks
The event begins at 6pm if you opt in for VIP tickets, or 7pm for general admission. You can get GA tickets for $65 during presale and $75 at the door. VIP tickets can be purchased for $85 and will grant you early entry, a meet and greet with the celebrity panel of judges, a special VIP gift and access to an exclusive lounge area.
The 21 and over event provides guests with unlimited burger tastings, fries, shakes and ice cold beer. There will also be live entertainment and lawn games.
Make sure you save the date. Seriously, log it in your iCal, write it in your planner in pen – whatever you need to do so you don’t miss out on this delicious event.
