Sanctuary on Camelback Mountain is easily one of our favorite local resorts, and for good reason. From a stellar culinary program to an array of immersive activities for any lifestyle, there is always something exciting happening.

Sanctuary Summer: Staycation in Style

From now through August 20th, simmer down to a three-course meal created by Food Network favorite Executive Chef Beau MacMillan at valley favorite elements restaurant. The special summer menu is available for $49 per person. To sweeten the deal, guests will receive 50% off select bottles of wine. (*Prices do not include tax or gratuity.)

After attending any of the Lunch & Learn events, you’ll be able to impress your friends with your new skills. Not only that, you’ll be wildly entertained throughout the event thanks to the hijinks and banter brought about by Chef Beau. Classes this year will feature Chef Carl Ruiz, master mixologist Tony AbouGanim as well as Chef Danny Grant. Lunch and dinner events are scheduled for August 4th, 11th, 25th and September 1st.

There’s no better to end the week than with brunch at elements. Guests are invited to indulge between 7am and 2pm, making sure not to skip out on the black truffle benedict served on an English muffin with breakfast potatoes, Nueske’s bacon, grilled asparagus and a foie gras hollandaise.

Cool of at jade bar during The Pour from 4pm until 6pm, Monday through Friday, with refreshing drink specials throughout the week.

Escape the crippling heat with these fun instructional classes. Mixology 101 features Sanctuary mixologists sharing tried-and-true techniques and tricks along with four innovative cocktail creations. The classes are held at noon every Saturday (except for August 4th, 11th, 25th and September 1st.) Reservations for the event are required and first timers will receive 15% of food during the class.

Sunday Bar Brawl

The heat is on for the region’s best bartenders. Sanctuary’s Bar Brawl is back for its fourth season with new additions and surprises on Sundays, now through August 26th. Some new features this year will be a new chef pop-up experience, with a special happy hour menu crafted by a local celebrity chef at each Bar Brawl event. Also, each week’s Lunch & Learn celebrity will serve as a guest judge. On Friday’s, guest bartenders will create Red Bull specialty cocktails from 9pm until 10:30pm, with the guest favorite featured at Sunday’s Bar Brawl.
